Meet Jim & Melaine Guetschow a husband - wife team with a dream to start their own company that combines Jim's love of all things aviation & photography and Melaine's love of family & creating... well just about anything. They took one idea and flew with it! They are the parents to three amazing not so little ones Charley, Wyatt & Eli. Together this team of five form 4 Fans Aerial Photography!
Meet Jim
Jim is the man behind the drone, He is Certified & Registered with the FAA & insured with Verifly. Jim is not only a great husband and father but is a member of the Untied States Air National Guard and a Airforce Veteran. He has been serving in the military since 2002 as a Loadmaster on the mighty C-130 Hercules! On board the herk he has served multiple tours all over the world including Iraq & Afghanistan. The name 4 Fans is actually paying homage to the C-130 and those who have served alongside him, as some will refer to the C-130 as the four fans of freedom. After 18+ year on the mighty C-130 he decided it was time for a new challenge and an even bigger drone. Jim decided it was time for a career change and after training he is now a sensor operator on the MQ9 -Reaper! When he is not playing with his new “toy” you will find him with his family or at one of the many activities these kids keep us busy with. If he is not with us, he is out trying to capture the perfect moment!
Meet Melaine
Melaine is a force to be reckoned with and a multitasking master. If you have called us recently, she is the one you are most likely the one on the other end of the phone, unless someone has ran off with her phone. Although she is not in charge of the drone she is in charge of the house and handles the backside of 4 Fans Aerial. When she is not keeping Jim in line she is chasing three little monsters around. You may even find her on a stage from time to time too! She loves that she is still able to help support her husband in his dreams and look after her family at the same time! It is really the best of both words. Odds are I am also responsible for any typos on here.
